We incorporate elements of boxing, American and Muay Thai kickboxing, jiu-jitsu, karate, Filipino stick fighting, knife fighting, and reality based self-defense to offer you an amazing workout. Our system of martial arts utilizes your natural walking and running motion to help you more quickly learn strikes, kicks and blocks while emphasizing good foundation, form and technique. Our system also teaches “forms”, a sequence of practical self-defense moves against single and multiple attackers. Forms are also an excellent way to develop focus, create life balance, and manage stress. We believe in sparring to build self defense reflexes, timing, and how to react spontaneously without knowing your opponent’s attack. Sparring is the closest thing to a real fight without being in a real fight. It is taught in a safe and controlled environment where you learn at your own pace. Sparring is one of the best forms of cardio, conditioning, and strength training.
