Michelle Reeves, MD, is with Springfield Clinic’s Family Medicine Department seeing patients at Springfield Clinic Macomb. She joined Springfield Clinic in 2015. Dr. Reeves earned her medical degree and completed her residency at Southern Illinois University School of Medicine in Springfield. She has been a physician in the Macomb community since finishing her residency in 2001. She is a member of the American Academy of Family Physicians, Illinois Academy of Family Physicians, Illinois State Medical Society, and McDonough County Medical Society. “Originally, I went to college to work in a laboratory, not in patient-facing setting, ” says Dr. Reeves. “But after getting into medical school and enjoying my clinics, I decided to go into family medicine.” Born and raised in central Illinois, Dr. Reeves appreciates the opportunity to provide care to rural communities like Macomb and the surrounding area. “One of the things I love most about family practice is the variety it provides me as a physician, ” says Dr. Reeves. “There is nothing more gratifying than seeing a patient somewhere in the community outside of the office, and them sharing with you the extremely positive impact you have on them.” In her free time, she enjoys traveling with her family and reading just for fun.Top 1% Patient ExperienceThis provider ranks in the top 1% nationally in patient experience, based on scores from the "Care Provider Overall" question on surveys completed with Press Ganey.
